I think it’s a close game — annoying close — but FSU gets the stops they need late and wins by 10.

Arizona State @ TCU – Over 54.5
TCU scores points the way some people breathe: naturally, constantly, and occasionally obnoxiously.
They’re averaging close to 40 a game, and Arizona State’s defense is just the right amount of “porous but not hopeless” to make this fun. If ASU can hang around and keep this close, we’re staring at an easy Over.
Both teams have speed, both teams want to push the pace. Forget your “defensive battle” friends — they’ll be asleep by halftime. This one is a shootout.

Oregon State +13.5 vs Houston
I don’t want to do this. At all.
Oregon State is 0–4. They’ve looked lost at times, and Houston is 3–0 with everyone throwing confetti at them. On paper, this is stupid.
But then you look at the number: 94% of spread money is on Houston. Ninety. Four. Percent.
That’s when the contrarian goblin inside me wakes up. This is how I get in trouble, but it’s also how you find the nasty covers that no one brags about. I hate this pick so much… that I absolutely love it.
